	Houses Houses in Delhi are generally up to three floors. Most of the time the landlord is living on the same premises. In certain houses the option of having one's own driveway is there. There are independent houses as well. Each house or an apartment comes with a servant quarter and parking facility. In some cases, garage is also there. Ground floor occupant has the access to the garden where as the second floor occupant may or may not have access to the roof. Most of the buildings are without lift. Houses generally come painted and polished to the tenant. Landlords do not repaint the premises during the currency of the Lease. In most of the cases the tenants are not required to repaint the premises when they leave. Exceptions are there ofcourse. Houses come without Furniture. Houses come equipped with fans, hot water boiler, lights. No telephones though occasionally a phone is made available for part time.
